JESMONITE PIGMENTS - SAMPLE PACK
Description
Jesmonite Pigments are aqueous dispersions compatible with Jesmonite composites. When dispersed in Jesmonite materials they offer excellent chemical stability and heat stability.
This sample pack includes a sample-sized bottle of all our Jesmonite liquid pigments (estimated 10g). Pigment shades included are: Black, White, Bright Red, Bright Yellow, Coade, Terracotta, Green, Red Oxide, Yellow Oxide, and Blue.
Adding approximately 2% of pigment will produce a strong, saturated colour. If lighter colours are desired, simply reduce the addition rate until the preferred colour is achieved. Pigments can be mixed with one another to create a custom colour of choice.

These pigments mix incredibly well and the selection of colours are so much better than anything else I've seen in this quality. You don't need a lot, only a few drops for even larger works to produce great results. I use a different mixing tool than the one suggested but it still produces very smooth and consistent colour results.
My only wish is that there was a middle size between the sample pack and 200g. It's tough to invest in the variety of colours I'd like to at that price point at this time in my small business journey. But that has nothing to do with the quality which is top knotch!
The pigment of the sample packs isnt mixing well into the jesmonite after using a mixing blade for over 1 minutes. Not sure if the pigment is expired. Had the worst customer service experience after first package went missing at ups and second package was held up by customs and was told that they would graciously cover the customs charge when there shouldnt even be a customs charge for orders under $800.

We're sorry to hear you are having trouble with your pigment. Could you please send us some more details of your mix ratio and pigment addition rate so that we can assist and help you get to the bottom of the issue?
We're sorry that you feel the customer service you received was not adequate. We are truly surprised to hear this, as upon review, it looks like our team did absolutely everything we could. Your first shipment went missing through no fault of ours, we then re-sent it with express shipping. This shipment was, unfortunately randomly selected for additional customs inspection, again beyond our control. When the carrier erronously applied customs fees to the shipment, we reached out to advise you that we paid them for you so that it wouldn't be further delayed while the fees were argued as they shouldn't have been applied for an order under $800, but simply noted that customs fees are outside our control and are normally not something that would be covered.
We take customer service very seriously, and we tried to do everything we could to help through a series of unfortunate events with your shipment, all of which were not within our control. We apologize that our efforts were not well received, and we welcome any feedback on how you think we could have better supported you in this case.
This is a great set for testing out pigments on small projects. I was impressed how well the pigments are blending together especially if you want to create your own colors. My favorite is red oxide and coade. On the other side the tubes are quite small, and it almost took me the entire tube to obtain the black-black shade for a candle container. But now that I've learned I know that I need to order bigger bottles. I also liked the customer service for this product, I am glad I reached out, Ben answered very professionally all my questions.
I got a tester kit of jesmonite pigments and thought I thought it was a bit pricey, it ended being a great investment because there’s just enough color qty to test what the colors actually look like. In my experience, they’re not as concentrated as I thought. Which is really good to know before I get the real thing.
I absolutely love my products from Mad Mayker and am officially obsessed with making jesomite products for my candle biz.
